ABOUT me
Hi! I’m Alexey, the lead photographer and founder of APV Studio. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved taking photos, and am fortunate enough to have nearly 18 years of experience capturing love stories around the world as a wedding photographer. Alongside my gifted team, I’ve had the honor of working on more than 400 weddings in stunning locations like Greece, India, Switzerland, Italy, the United States, and beyond. My work has been featured in renowned publications, including ELLE, L’Officiel, Premier, Collezioni, HomesOverseas, Wedding, Robb Report, and WHITE Sposa Italy.
My journey in photography began as a studio portrait photographer, working extensively with brands and magazines. However, after being asked to document the weddings of a few friends, I eventually decided to focus on wedding photography as I found it incredibly fulfilling. To me, wedding photography is a balance between art — images you’d want to print and proudly display at home — and authentic moments that become part of your family’s history.
I bring my years of expertise as an editorial photographer to my wedding work, ensuring my photos have a timeless, high-end yet natural color palette — elegant and enduring, much like a classic tuxedo. As the founder of APV, I personally edit every image, guaranteeing consistency and meticulous attention to detail.
To ensure every couple receives the highest level of care and artistry, I take no more than 30 weddings per year, focusing on quality over quantity. Clients often tell me that they were drawn to the aesthetic elegance and timeless beauty of my work, and that they’re just as in love with their photos and videos many years later.

PASSION PROJECTS
I believe that anyone gifted with a talent should not only make a living from it but also use it to benefit others. This is why I organize charitable exhibitions and other projects under my artistic name, ALEX MUSIN. Through these exhibitions, we have been able to raise funds and provide support to both people and animals.
COMPASSION IS BEAUTIFUL (2024, NYC)
This heartwarming exhibition brought together rescue dogs and people in a way that reminded us of something simple but powerful: kindness is beautiful. Shot in collaboration with local shelters, the project paired adoptable dogs with everyday people to show how effortlessly love and connection can be found. The exhibition raised significant funds for shelters and encouraged visitors to adopt — not shop. Because everyone deserves a second chance.
NOOLD (2016)
A powerful photo series that challenges society’s perception of aging. I collaborated with stylists to create bold, fashion-forward looks for individuals over 60, proving that style has no expiration date. This project was about more than just portraits — it was about self-love, confidence, and redefining what it means to grow older. Age isn’t a limitation — it’s a state of mind.

We shoot with the latest cameras, use only premium lenses, bring additional lighting equipment, capture aerial footage with drones, and have all the necessary licenses and insurance to provide our services professionally and securely. At the same time, for those who appreciate the charm of analog photography, we also offer film photography, adding a touch of authentic artistry to your memories.
