Oheka Castle, located in Huntington, New York, was built in the early 20th century by financier Otto Kahn. It was designed by the renowned architecture firm Carrere and Hastings and took three years to complete. The castle was once the largest private home in America and served as a symbol of the Gilded Age.

The castle offers a variety of options for your wedding celebration, including the Terrace Room, the Formal Dining Room, and the Grand Ballroom. Each room is designed to accommodate parties of any size, with the Terrace Room capable of hosting up to 700 guests in its cocktail reception area. The Grand Ballroom and Formal Dining Room are perfect indoor event options, allowing you to decorate and personalize your celebration to your heart's desire.

For those who wish to spend the night in true fairy-tale fashion, the castle offers 32 beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites on the upper floors. In the morning, guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Whether you're hosting an intimate gathering or a more significant celebration, with a maximum capacity of 700 guests in the cocktail reception area of the Terrace Room, you're sure to find the perfect space for your special day.

On average, the cost per person will land between $250-$400, depending on your wedding date. Holidays tend to be the most expensive, followed by Saturdays. Monday through Thursday in the first three months of the year are typically the most budget-friendly option, starting at $200 per person. And if you're looking to save money, a winter wedding at Oheka Castle, draped in a delicate blanket of snow, can be a magical and unforgettable experience.

For events Monday through Thursday, there is a minimum adult guest requirement of 125, with a slight increase to 150 on Fridays and Sundays and 200 on Saturdays. In addition to the cost per person, there will be a 22% service charge, a site fee of approximately $10,000-$14,000, a ceremony fee if held on-site ($1,500 per half hour), valet fees, 8.625% sales tax, and any additional upgrades. A convenient payment schedule will ensure a seamless and stress-free experience.
